Timbre's mission is to connect diverse individuals with the job market by matching technical and behavioral skills with available job opportunities in the Brazilian market. To achieve this, we use an innovative methodology designed to help eliminate unconscious biases that often arise during recruitment and selection processes.

We have adopted this Privacy Policy, which outlines how we will collect, process, and handle all Personal Data (sensitive or not) that you share with us while using our services, including your visits to our website and communications exchanged with us, as well as your rights concerning your Personal Data (sensitive or not) processed by us.

BY ACCESSING THE SITE, SENDING COMMUNICATIONS, OR PROVIDING ANY TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA TO TIMBRE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE TERMS SET FORTH HEREIN AND TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH DESCRIBES THE PURPOSES AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING THE PERSONAL AND SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA YOU PROVIDE TO TIMBRE.

If you provide us with Personal Data relating to other individuals, you declare that you are authorized to do so and that you have obtained the necessary consent to authorize the use of such information under this Privacy Policy.

We take care of your personal data and assume responsibility for ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal information.

1) DEFINITIONS

See below the definition of key terms used in our Privacy Policy:

  1. "Personal Data": any information that directly or indirectly identifies or can identify a natural person, such as name, CPF (Individual Taxpayer Registry), date of birth, IP address, among others;

  2. "Natural Person": synonymous with an individual, i.e., a living human being.

  3. "Sensitive Personal Data": any information that reveals, in relation to a natural person, their racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, union membership or membership in a religious, philosophical, or political organization, health or sex life information, genetic or biometric data.

  4. "Processing of Personal Data": any operation performed with Personal Data, whether by automated means or not, such as collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, deletion, evaluation, control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination, extraction, or any other operation provided for in the General Data Protection Law.

"General Data Protection Law" - (“LGPD”): Law No. 13.709/18, which regulates the processing of Personal Data, including through digital means, by individuals or legal entities, public or private, in order to protect the fundamental rights of freedom and privacy and the free development of the personality of the natural person.

2) WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

While using our services, you may need to provide us with PERSONAL DATA and SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA such as your name, surname, age, address, racial or ethnic origin, among others.

Additionally, during general browsing on Timbre’s website, we may collect:

  1. Location data: geolocation data when you access the website;

  2. Preferences: information about your preferences and interests regarding products/services (when you tell us or when we infer them from your activity);

  3. Website navigation data: information about your visits and activity, including content (and ads) you view and interact with, your browser and device, IP address, location, and referral website. Some of this data is collected through our Automatic Data Collection Tools, such as cookies, web beacons, and embedded links. See Section 7 for more on these tools;

  4. Anonymous or aggregated data: anonymous survey responses or aggregated data on site usage. In some cases, we de-identify or pseudonymize your data to reasonably prevent it from being used to identify you;

  5. Other information we may collect: such as browser/device details, store usage data, and information gathered through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies.

3) WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS DATA?

Anyone may browse the website without needing to register or provide Personal Data.

However, we collect your Personal Data (sensitive or not) for the following reasons:

(i) Personal Data: essential for any recruitment and selection process to individualize the candidate. This includes name, address, email, birth date, etc.;

(ii) Sensitive Personal Data: our service focuses on recruitment for corporate diversity. This includes hiring individuals from different genders, ethnicities, educational backgrounds, ages, experiences, and perspectives. Without this data, it would not be possible to identify the diversity profile and connect candidates to fitting job openings.

4) NON-OBLIGATION TO SHARE DATA

You are not required to share any Personal Data (sensitive or not) with Timbre. However, if you choose not to, we may not be able to provide you with full access to the website, specific features, or deliver the contracted services.

5) WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THIS INFORMATION?

Your data will be used for Recruitment and Selection with a focus on Corporate Diversity. This Human Resources process aims to attract and select candidates from diverse backgrounds for job opportunities with our clients/partners.

We may also use your data to manage your relationship with us and provide better services, including:

  1. Enabling you to acquire Timbre's products and/or services;

  2. Verifying or correcting your data;

  3. Sending relevant information;

  4. Contacting you via phone, email, SMS, or other communication channels for lawful and business-related purposes.

Timbre may retain and process your personal data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes listed in this policy. Anonymized data, which cannot be linked to individuals, may be retained indefinitely.

6) HOW TO EXERCISE MY RIGHTS?

To exercise any of your rights under the LGPD, including requesting data deletion or resolving concerns regarding your Personal Data, please contact us at contato@timbre.social.

7) POTENTIAL DATA DISCLOSURE

Your data may be disclosed for:

  1. Exercising legal rights in judicial, administrative, or arbitration proceedings;

  2. Complying with legal or regulatory orders;

  3. Protecting Timbre operations;

  4. Detecting and preventing fraud;

  5. Protecting your rights, privacy, and safety or those of third parties;

  6. Other cases authorized by the LGPD and applicable laws.

8) SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

We may share your Personal and/or Sensitive Data:

  1. With our partners and clients, or service providers to manage or support business operations on our behalf. These may be located in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, or other regions and may include servers for staging/production, data hosting/storage providers, fraud management, customer support, order fulfillment, marketing services, and IT services;

  2. With third parties in case of company reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or transfer (including bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Our third-party providers will only collect, use, and disclose your information as needed to perform services for us.

However, services such as WhatsApp and Google have their own privacy policies. We recommend reading them to understand how they use your information.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR PROVIDERS' PRIVACY PRACTICES AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ THEIR PRIVACY STATEMENTS.

9) AUTOMATIC COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

When you visit our site, it may store or retrieve data through your browser, mostly in the form of cookies—text files with small data bits. These don't usually identify you directly but can provide a more personalized experience.

With your consent, we and our service providers may collect your Personal Data via:

  1. Browser or device: device type, screen resolution, OS name/version, device model, language, browser type/version—used to ensure proper site functionality;

Per Article 48 of the LGPD, Timbre will notify you and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) in the event of a security incident that poses significant risk or harm.

12) CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications take effect immediately upon posting on the Timbre website.

If significant changes are made, we may notify you using the contact information in our records.

Your continued use of the website and services after any changes implies acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

If Timbre is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so we can continue providing products to you.
